Admission Test and Exemptions
Applicants are required to have a minimum of 60% unadjusted marks in F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, those with at least 50% in recognized admission tests such as MDCAT or USAT administered by national or foreign institutions may apply for an exemption from the STMU entry test. The entry test will be conducted by National Testing Services (NTS) in Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar.
Reserved Seats and Merit Distribution
The program reserves 10% of seats for students with terminal qualifications from foreign educational systems (e.g., GCSE, Cambridge) or dual nationality holders. An additional 2% of seats are reserved for nominees of the proprietors, partners, and directors of the pharmaceutical industry, and 5% are reserved for children of registered pharmacists.
Merit Computation and Interview Process
The merit for admission will be computed based on the following criteria:
- F.Sc or equivalent + STMU Entry Test: 60%
- Situational Judgment Tests (SJTs): 20%
- One-on-One Interview: 20%
Shortlisting for interviews will be based on a 50% weightage from the HSSC or equivalent qualification and a 50% weightage from the STMU Entry Test or other recognized valid tests.
