Position Overview
As the Assistant Store Leader – Visual, you’ll partner with the Store Leader to achieve all store objectives, including guest service excellence, sales, merchandising presentation, and team engagement. You’ll bring a creative vision and leadership to elevate the store’s visual design, ensuring an inspiring and dynamic shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. People Leadership
- Foster a guest-focused team culture, ensuring excellent service and relationship building.
- Provide feedback, recognize performance, and manage associate development.
- Delegate tasks effectively and involve associates in decision-making.
- Conduct training for sales associates and keyholders.
- Lead by example in managing change, adversity, and team commitment.
2. Visual Merchandising Execution
- Plan, execute, and maintain floor and window sets, seasonal décor, and mannequin displays.
- Manage the overall store atmosphere, including layout, scent, and music.
- Partner with the Visual District Leader to implement visual strategies and ensure alignment with brand aesthetics.
3. Operational Management
- Achieve and exceed store and individual goals.
- Execute task directives within designated time frames.
- Adhere to loss prevention practices and complete opening/closing procedures.
- Track and analyze business results, identifying strategies to maximize sales.
4. Presentation Excellence
- Interpret and execute Home Office visual communication.
- Provide feedback on product performance and visual merchandising effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of retail management experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, kneel, squat, and climb stairs or ladders. Must lift and carry up to 30 lbs. regularly.
