Job Description: Security Guard
As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining safety and ensuring a secure environment for everyone at the hotel. From safeguarding property to responding to emergencies, your vigilance and professional demeanor will uphold the high standards of Hilton hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Safety & Security: Ensure constant vigilance in and around the hotel premises, prioritizing the safety of guests, team members, and their belongings.
- Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the hotel property to identify potential risks or hazards.
- Emergency Response: Act promptly and effectively in the event of incidents or circumstances requiring immediate attention.
- Fire Safety Compliance: Monitor and maintain firefighting equipment, ensuring all safety requirements are met.
- Incident Management: Assist hotel management in handling security-related incidents, providing detailed reports and solutions.
- Compliance: Follow all hotel rules related to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate professionalism, attentiveness, and technical knowledge in security protocols.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous Security Experience: Experience in industries that monitor large volumes of people movement is preferred.
- Safety Certifications: Possess valid qualifications in fire safety, first aid, and security procedures.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management.
- Presentation: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
