Position Overview: Building Cleaner

As a Building Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility. Your responsibilities will include routine cleaning, sanitation, and equipment maintenance, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of the building, grounds, and processing equipment following the Changeover SOP, Master Cleaning Schedule, and SSOPs.
• Maintain and organize the soap storage room, ensuring proper use and storage of chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Operate cleaning equipment, including Genie Boom, high lifts, scrubbers, and framers.
• Mix cleaning chemicals in the correct ratios for equipment use.
• Assist with quarterly cleaning programs and participate in major cleanups, including wet washing.
• Comply with all health, safety, and operational procedures.

Equipment Knowledge

Proficiency in operating various cleaning tools and equipment is crucial. You will use scrubbers, formers, roamers, and walk-behind scrubbers to ensure efficient and effective cleaning. Understanding chemical dilution and proper storage methods is also essential.

What We’re Looking For

Nestlé seeks candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. While experience is a plus, we welcome individuals eager to learn and grow within our organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment (strongly preferred).
• Basic English language proficiency to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Physical ability to stand frequently and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work overtime and various shifts.
