Role Overview
As a Warehouse Worker, your primary responsibility will be processing product orders, manually or mechanically loading/unloading trailers, and adhering to FedEx’s high standards for safety, precision, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and pick products using Vocollect or WMS (SOGE) systems.
- Sort, palletize, and prepare products and orders for dispatch.
- Print, scan, and apply labels using an RF scanner.
- Enter inventory data into the management system with accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including electric pallet trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and manual pallet jacks.
- Follow strict safety procedures at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma (DES) or equivalent.
- Experience: Less than one year of related experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet trucks.
- Attention to quality, precision, and safety.
- Basic computer knowledge is an asset.
- Ability to adhere to procedures and meet deadlines.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift items weighing 20 lbs (9 kg) to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 99 lbs (45 kg) occasionally with assistance.
- Capability to stand, walk, and perform tasks for extended periods.
